The type of Sea Moss we sell is Chondrus Crispus (Irish Sea Moss/ Irish Moss), which  grows on rocks in cool waters of the Northern Atlantic Ocean.

 

Our Chondrus Crispus is sourced from the west coast of Ireland.

 

We primarily work with Chondrus Crispus that has been dried in the shade, so it retains its purple/green colour.

We also offer sunkissed Chondrus Crispus (this means it has been dried in the sun, causing a colour change from dark purple and green to light brown/gold).

 

Chondrus Crispus is nutrient dense and therefore has many health benefits that is great for the body and mind.
